Jewels
Jewelry are on-chain NFT artifacts forged by burning $RUBY. These unique items represent the true reward mechanism of the RubyOnAvax protocol — a refined and time-locked path to real AVAX yield.
Each Jewel is crafted with a fixed amount of $RUBY and staked in the Vault of Ages, where it matures over a predefined number of epochs. Once fully matured, it becomes redeemable for a set amount of $AVAX from the protocol treasury.
🛠️ Crafting Process
Users can access the Jeweler’s Forge on the Ruby dApp to convert their $RUBY into Jewelry NFTs.
Ruby Ring
1,000 $RUBY
15 epochs
0.1 AVAX per epoch
Ruby Pendant
5,000 $RUBY
25 epochs
0.6 AVAX per epoch
Ruby Crown
10,000 $RUBY
30 epochs
1.2 AVAX per epoch
Each NFT is stored in the user’s wallet and can be tracked in the dApp interface.
⏳ Vault of Ages — Maturation Mechanism
Jewelry must be staked to begin maturation. Only fully matured Jewels can be redeemed for their AVAX value. Early withdrawals trigger one of the following:
Cooldown Period before re-staking
Reduced Redemption (50% of base AVAX)
Partial burn of $RUBY value
This mechanism encourages long-term alignment and responsible participation.
đź’Ž Economic Role
Jewelry NFTs introduce a deflationary pressure on $RUBY by:
Burning large amounts of $RUBY at mint
Locking value over time, reducing short-term sell pressure
Rewarding patience through real, claimable AVAX yield
🧠Governance Implications
Jewelry NFTs are not governance tokens themselves, but their demand directly shapes $RUBY’s burn rate and staking behavior. In future iterations, Legendary Jewels or limited-time artifacts may carry voting power or influence over treasury allocations.
Jewelry is the backbone of RubyOnAvax’s refined yield loop — transforming effort and time into measurable, real-chain rewards.
